This is a lovely, cosy restaurant in Chelmsford and I hope it continues to do well. He was a really friendly and funny guy who had banter with my Dad which helped make his night feel extra special. I'd also like to praise Harry who was our waiter.

We appreciated the little touches for my Dad which included a wine bottle on the table decorated in West Ham references and musical notes (they had asked in advance what kind of things he is interested in) and at the end a free shot of limoncello! We had a variety of drinks and the pinot grigio and the shiraz went down a treat. All dishes were very tasty and served in a reasonable time. Two of us went for the set menu (£22.95 for 2 courses and £25.95 for 3 courses) whilst the remainder went for A-la-carte. However, as more people arrived and the addition of great background music (mainly 80s which was great for me!), it felt really relaxing.

There were four of us and upon arrival, the atmosphere was slightly lacking as it had just opened. It was a Wednesday evening with the table booked for 6pm.
